Paris Hotels

Staying in a capital city can be an expensive holiday, but when you consider that in the south of France you can easily pay £1000 a week for a villa, a week in a Parisian hotel doesn’t seem all that extravagant at all.

If you can afford to do it then a stay in Paris can be one of the best holidays of your life, with a combination of culture, historical importance and excellent cuisine you’re guaranteed to enjoy one of the most popular city breaks in the world.

Waldorf Trocadero – A great four star boutique style hotel situated in the centre of Paris, the Waldorf Trocadero is one of the finest hotels you can find in France’s capital. Each room has individual furniture and the hotel itself is situated close to several of Paris’ best known tourist attractions such as the Champs-Elysees, the Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triomph, meaning you’ve never too far to go for a stroll around the shops or a meal to enjoy. The nearest airport is Charles de Gaulle and the nearest train station is Saint Lazare.

Saint James & Albany Hotel – Another four star hotel located in the centre of Paris, more expensive than the Waldorf Trocadero (almost twice as much) the Saint James & Albany is famous for its luxury and excellent service. With 194 rooms, an inner garden and courtyards, a swimming pool and spa you’ll feel a world away from the hustle and bustle of Paris.

But the best part is that you’re in the centre of the city and only a short while away from Paris’ bets bits such as the Louvre and the Champs-Elysees. It’s expensive, but worth the extravagance if your budget allows.

Grand Hotel Francais – One of Paris’ best hotelsdue to it striking the balance between value for money and excellent standards, the Grand Hotel Francais is a three star hotel located in the city centre.

Housed by a historical building it combines Parisian culture and style with comfort and is available in August for £118 per night for a double room for two adults, which in Paris is a bargain in the middle of summer.

Just five minutes on the metro from Paris’ main station, the Gare du Lyon, getting around the city from there is easy and it’s also close to the Arc de Triomphe, Eiffel Tower and the Cathedral of Notre-Dame.

It’s a fantastic hotel and good value for money.
